The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has put Yaroslav Dubnevich on the wanted list of people’s deputy and member of the “For the Future” parliamentary group.

The agency is looking for the current people’s deputy for suspicion of organizing the seizure of natural gas worth more than UAH 2.1 billion. and legalization of illegally obtained profits. During 2013-2017, the parliamentarian recruited five other people and organized the seizure of natural gas by employees of the Novoyavorovskaya and Novorazdelskaya CHPPs in the Lviv region for a total amount of more than 2.155 billion UAH. The press service of NABU reported this.
It is noted that Dubnevich is the sixth suspect in this case. Other defendants already reported suspicion in January 2018 and August 2020.
Detectives qualified the actions of the people’s deputy under Part 3 of Art. 27 (organizer), part 5, art. 191 (misappropriation, embezzlement of property or taking possession of it through abuse of official position) and Part 3 of Art. 209 (legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime) of the Criminal Code. Dubnevich could face up to 12 years in prison.
The Bureau noted that the people’s deputy did not arrive at NABU on a summons to report suspicion to him. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is currently being decided.
