The IDF also hit Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in response to attacks on Israeli territory.
Earlier, Rakurs wrote that US President Joe Biden warned Israel against occupying the Gaza Strip. According to him, this would be a big mistake. Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan said Israel has “no interest” in occupying Gaza but will do “whatever is necessary” to eliminate Hamas.
On the morning of October 16, a second evacuation plane took off from Israel with 155 citizens of Ukraine, including 107 women and 23 children, the Ukrainian Embassy reported.
According to the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel, the Ukrainians departed from the airport in Tel Aviv on a flight from the city of Cluj (Romania).
During the first evacuation flight, more than 200 people were taken to Romania, mostly women and children.
The data regarding the deaths of Ukrainians in Israel as a result of the Hamas attack has not changed. By the evening of October 13, 11 deaths were known. However, the media also indicated a different number – 12. Another 9 Ukrainians are still considered missing.
