More than 80% of Ukrainian citizens want to ban UOC-MP and therefore it is necessary to convince politicians that they are obliged to do so. This is the opinion of People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Cultural Policy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy Nikolai Knyazhitsky, writes Ukrinform.
“I am strongly convinced that we should ban the activities of the Russian church in Ukraine. More than 80% of Ukrainian citizens want to ban the Russian church, and everything should be done to ensure that it is voted. There are many politician who doesn’t really know what “The Russian church poses a threat to national security. It is necessary for these people who do not want to vote to be convinced that they are obliged to do so and fulfill the will of the people,” Knyazhitsky noted.
It was previously reported that more than 60 UOC clerics were exposed for their collaboration with the Russian Federation.
