In particular, after the start of the full-scale invasion, he became the author of the publications “The Ukraine project is being closed before our eyes,” “On the moral savagery of Ukrainian patriots,” “Why Ukraine will never win,” “The only salvation for Ukrainians is Russia.”
The ex-intelligence officer began his subversive activities against Ukraine back in 2013. Since 2014 he has been in military service.
The defendant impersonated an independent blogger and analyst, used a fictitious name and disseminated Russian narratives under the direction of handlers from the Kremlin.
In 2015, he moved to Russia, where he continued his illegal activities.
DVB operatives, together with DBI investigators, collected evidence in this case and announced suspicion to the former intelligence officer under Part 1 and Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces life imprisonment.
