Joe Biden has a higher rating than Donald Trump, but it is lower than the other Republican candidates.
In the political favor rating a year before the election, US leader Joe Biden is one percentage point ahead of former President Donald Trump, but behind other potential Republican nominees. This is confirmed by data from a sociological survey conducted by Fox News, reports The Hill.
It was noted that support for the current president ranges from 45% to 49%, depending on who is running from the Republican Party.
The poll showed for the first time that Trump had a worse performance against Biden than the other Republican candidates.
Specifically, Biden lost by two points to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley by four points.
At the same time, Trump is confidently leading the Republican Party primaries. He has 59% voter support, compared to DeSantis’ 13%, Haley’s 10% and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy’s 7%.
Former Vice President Mike Pence, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Senator Tim Scott received less than 5%.
Polling was conducted on October 6-9 among 1,007 registered voters nationwide. The error amounts to plus or minus 3%.
The presidential election scheduled for November 5, 2024 is the 60th presidential election in the United States.
It can be recalled that Trump announced his intention to send his political enemies to prison if he is re-elected in 2024.
