The accident caused a change in the route of several passenger trains, including those traveling from Kyiv to Chernivtsi, Rakhiv and Truskavets.
Several cargo vehicles were derailed between Berdichev and Kazatin. In this regard, the route of some passenger trains was changed, Ukrzaliznytsia reported on its Telegram channel on Friday, October 13.
The following trains travel to Zhmerinka and Podvolochisk with a delay of up to two hours:

7 Kyiv – Chernivtsi,

95 Kyiv – Rakhiv,

49 Kyiv – Truskavets.
Train 23 Kyiv – Chelm follows the revised route via Korosten and Shepetovka with a delay of about an hour.
Train 78 Kovel – Odessa will travel through Berdichev, Zhitomir, Fastov and Kazatin with a delay of up to three hours.
Train 6 Yasinya – Zaporozhye will travel through Shepetovka, Korosten and Fastov with a delay of up to three hours without stopping at Berdichev station.
“We will take passengers from Berdichev on this flight in the direction of the Dnieper to Fastov on train 78 with the next transfer on purchased seats. We are preparing passengers for this flight to Berdichev for transfer on train 88 in Fastov,” UZ explained.
As we have already written, Ukrzaliznytsia strengthened security control at railway facilities and introduced paramilitary security escort on nine passenger trains.
