The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has put the former mayor of Odessa Alexey Kostusev on the wanted list.

This is evidenced by information published on the NABU website.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine is looking for a suspect in criminal proceedings No. 52023000000000172 dated 04/13/2023, Alexey Alekseevich Kostusev, 06/29/1954 year of birth, on suspicion of committing crimes under Part 5 of Art. 191, part 2 art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, – stated in the message.
Kostusev was the mayor of Odessa from 2010 to 2013.
According to the publication “Public”, Kostusev is with a suspect in the case of taking over the Odessa airport. According to investigators, in 2011 a group of people implemented a scheme under which the airport became the common property of the city and private investors. At the same time, the city lost control over it and did not receive any profit.
Among the suspects in this case, in addition to Kostusev, are his deputy, the head of one of the limited liability companies and two well-known businessmen in the region – Boris Kaufman and Alexander Borukhovich.
