Ukraine’s Ambassador to Israel Yevgeny Korniychuk noted that the Israeli media today hardly covers the subject of the war in Ukraine.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk said Kyiv wanted to buy the Iron Dome missile defense system from Israel. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post.
At a press conference, the diplomat allegedly confirmed media reports that Israel had refused to sign an agreement to hand over Rafael its anti-tank system.
“To my knowledge, last week the Americans gave permission for the transfer of Spike’s anti-tank systems made using Israeli technology from Germany to Ukraine, but Israel refused,” the ambassador said.
The ambassador noted that the Israeli media today hardly covers the subject of the war in Ukraine.
“I want the Israeli government to leave their comfort zone and return to reality … We need Israeli help … I mean, we need military technical support; we need the Iron Dome … to save our civilian women and children from the Russian strikes. missiles in our territory. We don’t need a donation, we want to buy it, ”Korniychuk said.
Recall that Israel rejected the United States ’request to allow Berlin to supply anti-tank missiles to Ukraine made in Germany using Israeli technologies and licenses.
