The Israeli army has resumed control of the Gaza Strip border after Hamas militants blew up parts of the border fence at the start of the offensive. The Times of Israel newspaper reported this on Tuesday, October 10, citing IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari.

“In the last 24 hours, not a single terrorist has crossed the fence,” he said.

An IDF spokesman added that the Army Corps of Engineers was working in areas near the holes in the fence.

The Israeli military believes that a small number of terrorists are still hiding in the country. 1,500 bodies of Hamas fighters were found in Israel.

It was noted that since the night of October 9, not a single militant has crossed the Israeli border, although infiltration is still possible.

We remind you that tonight the Israeli army carried out more than 200 strikes on targets in the Gaza Strip.

As reported Correspondent.netOn the morning of October 7, Hamas militants launched a massive rocket attack on Israel and entered its territory.

In response, the Israeli army announced the start of Operation Iron Swords and attacked the group’s targets in the Gaza Strip.
