In particular, according to the publication, the official said at a briefing in the Knesset that Israel no longer drops dummy bombs on buildings before attacking them (previously, this was how civilians were warned about the need to flee).
Another source confirmed that the “Knock on the Roof” tactic, in which the IDF sent out messages, made calls or dropped non-explosive devices on houses to warn residents before attacks, is no longer used.
According to him, it has not been abandoned altogether, but the population of Gaza has already been informed of the need to evacuate from the “central areas occupied by terrorists.”
In addition, according to the Times of Israel, Israel is ready to strike Gaza, even if it harms the hostages. The source told the publication that if the army knows the exact location where the hostages are located, they will not strike this building. However, since there is no such information, all Hamas-related targets will be attacked.
Hamas previously threatened to begin executing hostages if Israel did not stop striking homes where civilians live without warning.
There will be no electricity, food, fuel, everything is closed. We fight against “animal people” and act accordingly – the Israeli Defense Minister ordered a complete siege of the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, the country’s air force launched a large-scale attack on Hamas targets.
