On October 8, Russian troops shelled Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region, injuring four civilians, including a child. This was reported by the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to investigators, on Sunday at 06:25 the Russian army struck a populated area, probably with an Iskander OTRK cruise missile.
“Russian troops hit a residential area. A nine-year-old girl and her 44-year-old mother were injured in the blast. A 64-year-old woman and her 41-year-old son were were also injured. The victims were diagnosed with bruises, shrapnel injuries and a concussion. At the time of the attack, people were in their own private houses, not far from where a missile hit Russia,” prosecutors said.
Ten multi-storey residential buildings, 19 private households, cars, boiler rooms, gas pipelines and electric power lines were damaged.
A pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was launched on the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
