Since the beginning of August this year, more than 10 thousand residents of the occupied territories have returned to Ukraine through the checkpoint in the Sumy region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
“Since the beginning of August, more than 10 thousand citizens of Ukraine have returned to Ukraine through this checkpoint,” the press service said in a statement.
These are mainly people from the occupied territories of Zaporozhye, Kherson, Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Earlier, Vereshchuk reported that every day 170-200 people cross from the Russian Federation to Ukraine through the Kolotilovka-Pokrovka humanitarian corridor on the border of Belgorod and Sumy regions.
