Prosecutors are documenting the consequences of another Russian attack in the Odessa region, and a pre-trial investigation has begun. The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported this on October 6.
According to the investigation, on Friday night, enemy drones hit the port and border infrastructure in the Danube region.
“Warehouses, administrative buildings and cargo vehicles were damaged – nine trucks were burned. The inspection is ongoing, a full list of destruction and damage has been established,” the department said.
A pre-trial investigation was launched into violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The State Emergency Service added that no one was killed or injured. Four pieces of equipment and 19 firefighters were involved in extinguishing the fire.
We remind you that on October 6, the Russians released 33 Shahed throughout the territory of Ukraine, and the air defense forces destroyed 25 of them.
It was previously reported that as a result of an enemy air attack, the work of the Orlovka ferry checkpoint on the border with Romania was temporarily suspended.
