The shooting referred to in Kyiv – during an armed conflict, a serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed two other military personnel

On the night of October 2, two soldiers of the Armed Forces were killed in Kyiv. Investigators found that a soldier from one of the military units stationed in the capital, after a daily duty, drank alcoholic beverages with two employees of the same unit. Suddenly a conflict arose between them. This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Defense of the Central Region.
During the conflict, one of the soldiers grabbed a machine gun and shot his brothers. They died on the spot from their wounds. After this, the attacker tried to escape, but he was detained by law enforcement officers. He has already been informed of suspicion under clause 1, part 2, art. 115 (intentional murder of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The suspect is expected to be taken into custody.
According to some reports, the murder took place on Lavrskaya Street in the Pechersky district of Kyiv.
Let us recall that in August the court allowed two defendants to be released on bail in the case of the murder of Svoboda volunteer Alexei Shcherbina, who was shot dead in Kyiv in October 2022.
