Three defenders of Mariupol received 22 years in prison from an unrecognized terrorist entity in Russian-occupied territory.
The so-called “court” of the Russian quasi-entity “DPR” announced “sentences” to three Ukrainian servicemen of the Azov regiment who took part in the defense of Mariupol from the Nazi invaders. This was reported by the Russian agency TASS.
In particular, Vladislav Kurka, Pavel Stepanov and Sergei Shevela received “sentences” for “mortar attack on residential buildings in Mariupol” from March 5 to 10, 2022. The “judges” themselves reported that not a single civilian was harmed by the mortar attacks by the “defendants.”
Earlier it was reported that a new test of Ukrainian defenders of Mairupol from the Azov regiment began in Russian Rostov-on-Don.
We remind you that the defense of Mariupol lasted from February 24 – the day of the large-scale invasion of Putin’s invaders in Ukraine – until May 20, 2022. During the siege of Mariupol, the Russians, who carried out continuous artillery and air strikes on the city’s civilian infrastructure, killed, according to experts, about 100 thousand civilians.
