Oleg and Elena from the Sambir district had planned to get married a year ago, but the war made adjustments to their plans. They decided to reject a high -profile wedding – not the time. But they decided to get married and arrange a festive dinner for relatives, without music and entertainment. And the newlyweds donated the money donated by their relatives on the occasion of the wedding to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Galina Kotik, a bank employee, said this on her Facebook page.
A young family went to a bank in Sambir and transferred UAH 100,000 to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the woman said.
“The relatives greet us, so we want to support the army, because this is the most important thing today. We have arms and legs, so we will earn more money for ourselves, ”the newlyweds explained in their decision.
Galina Kotik also clarified that the young people were asked not to publish the names, but they were allowed to say, because the action could inspire others.
