The head of state gave awards to the heads of foreign affairs agencies of Ireland, Italy, Romania, Denmark and France.
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, within the framework of the meeting of the foreign ministers of the EU member states in Kyiv, gave state awards to the heads of the foreign ministries of Ireland, Italy, Romania, Denmark and France. The press service of the President’s Office reported this on Monday, October 2.
“The ministers are known for their significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and making Ukraine famous in the world,” the statement said.
In particular, Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defense Michal Martin was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, II degree.
The head of state also presented the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, III degree, to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Antonio Tajani and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Luminica Odobescu.
Zelensky awarded the Order of Merit, 1st class, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark, Lars Lykke Rasmussen. The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Catherine Colonna, was awarded the Order of Princess Olga, III degree.
