Propagandists presented a story with threats against the pilot Maxim Kuzminov, who went to the side of Ukraine during the operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Sinitsa Military District.
Russian special services received an order to remove the commander of the Mi-8 helicopter, Maxim Kuzminov, who flew over Ukraine in August. This was stated by GRU officials on the Russian propaganda channel Russia 1.
Russian state media for the first time reported in detail about the theft of the helicopter, which took place in August. In the story, Kuzminov was called a “traitor to the motherland,” a “scavenger,” and a “sellout.”
The pilot, who, with the help of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, flew the Mi-8 helicopter into the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was accused by the author of the story of killing the rest of the crew.
The story also states that Russian special services have already received an order to eliminate Kuzminov.
“We will find him and punish him to the full extent of our state’s laws for treason,” said one of the four fighters, whose face was hidden.
A representative of Russian counterintelligence said the pilot’s crime has no statute of limitations.
We remind you that at the end of August it became known that a Russian Mi-8 helicopter flew over Ukraine and surrendered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov secretly reached an agreement with Ukrainian intelligence.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, called Operation Sinitsa one of the best conducted by his department in the entire history of Ukraine.
