The air defense of the invaders shot down their own plane, but missed a Ukrainian drone, which managed to fly deep behind enemy lines.
Russian air defense in the occupied part of Zaporozhye shot down its own plane the previous day, but the Ukrainian drone filming the crash site was not noticed. Journalist Andrei Tsaplienko reported this by publishing the corresponding video.
“The entire video of the downing of their own Su-27, shot down by the Russians themselves, was shot…. attention… a Ukrainian drone that flew deep behind enemy lines. Katsap propagandists is completely confused about this. The Ukrainian drone was not shot down, but their own fighter was shot down”, commented Tsaplienko.
According to him, the downed plane turned out to be a Su-27, although a day before journalist Yuri Butusov reported that the Russian air defense “grounded” its own Su-35.
