The air force reported on Friday evening that several groups of drones had been launched from Crimea, raising alarm in the southern regions.
Russia launched several groups of Shahed kamikaze attack drones from the Chauda training ground in occupied Crimea. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Friday, September 29, in Telegram.
“A group of attack UAVs is in the airspace of the Nikolaev region, the direction of movement is to the north. The danger remains in the Odessa region,” the message said.
The air force also warned about the missile danger in Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions.
“Do not ignore alarm signals, stay in shelters,” the military urged.
Romania is moving air defense assets closer to the Danube villages on the Ukrainian border, and is also increasing the number of observation posts and patrols in the area.
Let’s recall that on September 26, Russia attacked the infrastructure of a Ukrainian port on the Danube River with attack drones, as well as the ferry checkpoint on the Romanian border. Due to the impact, the operation of the checkpoint was stopped for the whole day.
