The corresponding decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers. And Ukrainians who have not received subsidy payments before this year must apply to receive it. To do this, you must submit an application through the “Action” portal or submit an application through the Pension Fund website. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal announced this on September 29 in Telegram.
Thanks to the digitalization of processes, all subsidies this year will be reassigned automatically, he noted.
According to Shmygal, the Cabinet of Ministers planned to increase the budget, which will be used to pay subsidies.
Let us remind you that when calculating pensions in Ukraine, a point system will be in effect. Every month, employed citizens will pay a contribution to the pension fund and this contribution will be transferred to points in accordance with the ratio between the citizen’s salary and the average salary in Ukraine at that time. Each year, these points will be transferred back into the pension in accordance with the current average salary.
