Foreign specialists will participate in the creation of the production of air defense systems in Ukraine, the head of the OP noted.
Ukraine and the United States will develop a plan for joint production of weapons, including air defense systems. This was said by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak at a press conference on Friday, September 29.
“There is a very basic solution that will begin to be implemented soon. I think that soon specialists will come to us who will develop a specific plan for our own production of everything (weapons – ed.) that we need,” he said.
First of all, according to Ermak, it concerns air defense systems.
“A delegation will come (to Ukraine – ed.). There will be a meeting of the American and Ukrainian delegations to develop joint plans for the production of weapons in Ukraine,” said the head of the OP.
We remind you that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba announced that the first Ukrainian Forum of Defense Industries will be held in Kyiv in the coming days.
Earlier, the head of the Pentagon said that Ukraine asks its partners for the weapons that it considers necessary for itself, in particular, missiles, however, the US military leadership believes that the most important is the proper provision of air defense systems.
