New York (AP) – Alec John Soo, bassist and founding member of cult rock band Bon Jovi, has died. He is 70 years old.
The band announced on Sunday the death of Such, a New Jersey bass player from 1983 to 1994. Details of when and how they died were not immediately available. Singer-songwriter John Bon Jovi’s press secretary could not immediately respond to the messages.
Bon Jovi called such a group a meeting, mentioning that they were a childhood friend of drummer Tico Torres and took guitarist and composer Richie Sambora to watch the band perform. Tale played with Sambora in a band called Message.
The New York -born Yonkers are a veteran of the emerging New Jersey music scene who helped create Bon Jovi. As Hunka Bunka Ballroom Manager in Sayreville, New Jersey, Such booked Jon Bon Jovi & The Wild Ones before joining the songwriting group. He played with Bon Jovi during the band’s heyday in the 1980s.
So he left the band in 1994 when he was replaced by bassist Hugh MacDonald. He later joined the band in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
“When John Bon Jovi called me and asked me to join his group many years ago, I immediately realized how serious he was and had a vision he wanted to bring to us.” Said the induction of such a Hall of Fame. “And I’m so happy to be a part of that vision.”
