Bloomberg writes about this with reference to a senior official in the US defense sector.
An American official, speaking on condition of anonymity, noted that Poland remains committed to supporting Ukraine, but its position is unclear. He added that disagreements between Kiev and Warsaw have not yet led to a split in the unity of the coalition.
A diplomatic source in Europe told Bloomberg that Polish diplomats assured foreign colleagues of Poland’s continued military support for Ukraine, even if on a smaller scale.
Let us remember that the other day the Polish prime minister said that Warsaw is now focused on rearming its own army and therefore does not transfer its military assistance to Kyiv. The statement came amid tensions between Poland and Ukraine over unilateral Polish restrictions on Ukrainian agricultural products.
Polish President Andrzej Duda assured that Morawiecki’s words were misinterpreted.
