The Ukrainian military attacked a secret base of Russian aggressors in the city of Melitopol. The commander of the 58th Army of the Russian Federation was wounded, Censor reports, citing sources.
“The invaders built a headquarters in a motor plant in the temporarily captured Melitopol. The SBU discovered it and passed the information to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and then they cooperated on the target,” the message said.
It is said that around ten Russian officers were killed. Several dozen more officers were wounded, among them the commander of the 58th Army of the Russian Federation, which was fighting in the direction of Zaporozhye, as well as the chief of staff of the army.
The publication does not indicate the name of the wounded officer, but from open sources it is known that the 58th Army is commanded by Lieutenant General Denis Lyamin. He was appointed to this post in July of this year.
