Before this announcement, Azerbaijan closed its airspace to Armenia.
Earlier, there was an explosion on a mini vehicle transported by military personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. The country claims that the mine was planted by saboteurs from Armenia.
In a statement, the Azerbaijani army said it was using “high-precision weapons” to hit military targets. The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army and Azerbaijani forces accused each other of violating the ceasefire.
Currently, Azerbaijan is shelling the Armenian city of Stepanakert. At the same time, the Armenian military is shelling Azerbaijani positions at artillery installations in the Agdam direction.
The media write that Baku plans to regain full control over Karabakh.
