The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has approved two more tactical machine gun systems for use by troops, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
We are talking about a tactical complex for 7.62 mm PKM and MG42 machine guns with a capacity of 500 RBPP-500 rounds and a tactical machine gun complex Predator.
“The Predator is designed to accommodate and continuously supply machine gun belts loaded with 7.62 x 54 mm caliber cartridges for the PK (PKM) machine gun, and the RBPP-500 tactical complex – including 7.62 x 51 mm caliber – for the MG42 machine gun”, the message said.
Both complexes have successfully passed tests for reliability and efficiency.
“Thanks to the Accelerator activities of the Ministry of Defense, the procedure for receiving operational progress has been accelerated to 45 days,” the ministry emphasized.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainian developers demonstrated a number of new military developments, including a cruise missile.
