First Lady Elena Zelenskaya arrived in the United States with President Vladimir Zelensky. He plans to hold several meetings in the States, with the Clinton family and the director general of the WHO. Zelenskaya wrote about it in Telegram.
“Together with Vladimir Zelensky, we came to New York to participate in the events of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly. The topic of this year’s joint discussion is Restoring trust and international unity. Ukraine understands the importance of both . We have something to say. So the program will be intense,” she wrote.
Zelenskaya also noted that she plans to meet with the Clinton family – “our friends and philanthropists who support Ukraine.” In addition, together with the Director General of UNESCO, he will open an exhibition dedicated to the destruction of cultural heritage captured in photos of Ukrainian monuments bombed by Russia. In this context, Zelenskaya recalled that recently Sophia of Kiev and the historical center of Lviv were included in a special UNESCO list – “Monuments under threat.”
“I will hold several important bilateral meetings, in particular, a meeting with the Director General of the WHO. Solidarity – human and global – remains the only remedy against barbarity and aggression,” said the first lady.
Zelenskaya also delivered several speeches on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. In particular, he will talk about the life of Ukrainian children during the war. We will also talk about Ukrainian women and the newly adopted approach to equal pay.
