Chernivtsi police detained members of an interregional criminal organization that organized a channel for the distribution of amphetamine in several regions. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

It was found that the 39-year-old convict headed a criminal organization that illegally produced and distributed psychotropic substances. Drug sales were established in Kyiv, Zhitomir, Chernivtsi and Chernivtsi region.
A separate group member is assigned to a specific territory. Illicit substances are shipped through postal services, and local drug dealers package and sell the products to clients.
“To preserve records, the head of the Chernivtsi link of the criminal group involved his partner in illegal activities. He was responsible for the group’s “accounting” and made financial arrangements with defendant,” the police report.
During the searches, items for the production and packaging of amphetamine, 250 thousand UAH, mobile phones, laptops, bank cards and black notes were seized.
Six suspects are in custody, and other people who may be involved in the drug gang are being identified.
Earlier it was reported that a drug gang of “volunteers” was exposed in the Lviv region.
