A photo has appeared online of the towing of a small Russian missile hovercraft of Project 1239 “Samum”, which on September 14 was attacked by an experimental drone of the SBU “Sea Baby” in the Black Sea. The corresponding photos are published by Telegram channels.
In the photo you can see two tugboats pulling the stricken ship to the shore. The media write that the ship is awaiting a long repair, because there is a hole in two places and flooding in two rooms.
According to Russian propaganda, “Samum” is part of the 41st brigade of missile boats of the Crimean naval base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It became part of the occupation fleet in 1999. And at the end of 2016, Samum topped the list of the best ships of the second rank of the Black Sea Fleet.
Let us remind you that on September 14, a surface drone of the SBU attacked the Russian ship Samum near the entrance to Sevastopol Bay. The drone hit the rear starboard side of the enemy vessel, causing significant damage.
