“Shufrich is accused in the case about a Russian spy network created by an employee of the FSB of the Russian Federation and former People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vladimir Sivkovich. According to the conclusions of the investigation, Shufrich, on the instructions of Sivkovich, appeared on TV channels in Ukraine and Russia with the aim of spreading Russian propaganda and promoting anti-Ukrainian policies. He was charged with high treason,” the journalist said.
Butusov said that “he had to press Shufrich on television on the eve of the raid for this reason.” He also remembered that Shufrich was still a deputy of the town.
The journalist expressed hope that “all participants in Sivkovich’s network will be imprisoned for high treason.”
