Heavy and heavy fighting continues in the areas of Kleshchievka and Andreevka, the military said.
The statement of the Ministry of Defense about the liberation of the village of Andreevka in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region is false. The 3rd separate assault brigade reported this on Telegram on Thursday, September 14.
“The statement about the capture of Andreevka is false and premature. Serious and heavy fighting continues in the areas of Kleshchievka and Andreevka,” the message said.
The military added that such statements are harmful, as they pose a threat to the lives of personnel and harm the performance of combat missions.
Earlier on Thursday, Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar announced the release of Andreevka near Bakhmut. According to him, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gaining a foothold there and moving forward.
In recent days, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have repeatedly reported on victories near Bakhmut.
