North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in Russia by special train on September 12. Together with Putin, they toured the Eastern Cosmodrome in the Amur Region, Russian Federation.
Vladimir Putin accepted Kim Jong-un’s invitation to visit Pyongyang. Yonhap News Agency wrote this on Thursday, September 14, in relation to KCNA.
“Kim Jong-un made this proposal at an official dinner with Putin on Wednesday after their meeting at the Vostochny Cosmodrome,” the statement said.
It was noted that the Russian dictator accepted the invitation with “joy” and said that he would visit North Korea at a convenient time.
According to journalists, the dictators said goodbye, and Kim Jong-un left for his “next destination.” It was not specified where he was going.
The meeting between Putin and Kim comes amid US claims that Russia and North Korea are moving towards a military pact. It is assumed that Pyongyang may transfer weapons to Moscow for the war against Ukraine.
We remind you that Putin and Kim Jong-un held a meeting at the Vostochny Cosmodrome. They talked on a tour of the cosmodrome, then held negotiations with the participation of delegations, and then face to face. The final point was the official reception in honor of the North Korean leader, where Eun drank to Putin’s health.
Ukrainian intelligence believes that Putin asked the leader of the DPRK for military assistance. Russia really needs ammunition and weapons from the USSR era for the war in Ukraine.
