The wound sustained in the shark attack was so deep that doctors had to amputate the woman’s arm, local media reported.

In the Egyptian resort of Daha, 100 kilometers from Sharm el-Sheikh, a shark attacked a woman. Cairo24 reported this on Wednesday, September 13.

The country’s Ministry of Environment clarified that the girl is an Egyptian citizen and that she has been given all the necessary assistance.

“The woman was injured, but doctors managed to stabilize her condition and she is under observation,” the ministry said.

According to preliminary data, the Egyptian woman was swimming in the buoy area when the predator attacked her.

According to eyewitnesses, the shark was about 3 m long.

It is said that swimming is prohibited at the beach. Many boats are exploring the coast – specialists are looking for the shark.

We remind you that on June 8, in the resort city of Hurghada, near Dream Beach, a shark ate 23-year-old Russian Vladimir Popov. The killer shark was later caught.
