During attacks on the ships’ locations on the night of September 13, the large landing ship Rapuchaya and the KILO submarine, which carries Caliber cruise missiles, could have been damaged. Just yesterday morning, these Russian ships were recorded by satellite in the dry dock of Sevastopol. This was reported by OSInt researcher M.T. Anderson.
Russian media and propagandists at this time are confused about the name and type of destroyed ships. Some write that the large landing ship Caesar Kunikov or the similar type Novocherkassk was seriously hit.
Others note that the diesel-electric submarine Rostov-on-Don and the large landing ship Minsk were damaged.
As you know, the B-237 Rostov-on-Don is an improved Kilo-class attack submarine of the Russian Navy. Its cost is $300 million, the submarine was launched in 2014.
Meanwhile, NASA satellites recorded fires at the Sevastopol Marine Plant after a night attack. The map shows three cells of fire that broke out around 4:00 on September 13.
Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov, in a comment to Public, confirmed that there was a defeat of a large landing ship and a submarine. He did not specify which vessels were hit.
Let us recall that the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Sevmorzavod in Sevastopol on the night of September 13 was attacked by 10 cruise missiles. The explosions resulted in large fires.
