This was reported by the country’s Ministry of Defense.
It will include tanks and their ammunition, infantry fighting vehicles and anti-aircraft guns. The package is divided into three parts: the first, in the amount of 4.3 billion crowns, Ukraine will receive this year, 1.4 billion in 2024, and another 52 million in 2025.
After more than a year and a half of war, we have almost exhausted our defense reserves. Therefore, we are now considering more targeted joint procurement and international cooperation, adapted to the needs of Ukraine here and now,” said Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.
Let us remind you that earlier the Danish Defense Ministry officially announced delays in deliveries of the F-35 Lightning II. Due to problems with the Technology Refresh 3 (TR-3) upgrade, Lockheed Martin will not send the aircraft to Denmark until the second half of the year.
