Planned combat operations by the Ukrainian military continue around the village of Opytnoye in the Donetsk region. This was said by the spokesman of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Alexander Shtupun, on the air of the telethon Something new on Tuesday, September 12.
“The tactical situation is changing all the time, and we will report on specific successes in due course,” he assured.
According to him, Ukrainian defenders continue offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol.
At the same time, the Russians are bringing reserves in that direction and trying to bring their units back: they continue their futile attempts to storm the positions on the right flank of our group of fighters.
The invaders are also unsuccessfully trying to break the Ukrainian defenses in the Donetsk region: in the areas of Avdievka, Maryinka and south of Novomikhailovka.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces were successful in the areas south and southeast of Rbotinoye. In particular, they advanced from 300 to 500 meters in different places, Shputun said.
