As it turned out, the Basmanny District Court of Moscow arrested the mayor of a Ukrainian city with a million population in absentia. The Muscovites came up with the idea that Filatov should answer for “calls to kill Russians around the world.”
According to a Mediazona source, Filatov is “charged” with an article about inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity with the threat of violence.
“I consider this “arrest” of mine to be the highest recognition of my services to Ukraine,” the mayor of Dnipro responded to this on Facebook.
He also wrote that the court in the swamps arrested a simple mayor of one of the Ukrainian regional centers.
Not a senior government official, the head of the CAA or a parliamentarian. But just the head of one of the communities,” the mayor noted.
