“Let’s start with ATACMS. I hope to speak with President Biden. His opinion and support are very important to me. I think he can turn this page of the war,” Zelensky said in an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria.
The head of state recalled that Biden had previously agreed to provide HIMARS to Ukraine.
“He did it once in HIMARS. This is very important. So with regard to ATACMS, I will talk to President Biden again. This is not the first negotiation. We are moving forward. Hopefully we can get them in the fall,” he said.
According to Zelensky, it is very important for Ukraine not to stop the counter-offensive, which is why ATACMS is so important.
