The Intercity train is already running from Shostka to Kyiv. The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmitry Zhivitsky, wrote about it on Facebook.
“We will not leave this job for a day! I thank the chairman of the board of UZ Alexander Komishin and Alexander Pertsovsky, the head of the passenger direction of UZ, for their joint work in the region,” the politician notes.
The capital of Ukraine with the north of the Sumy region is connected by rail 774/773 Kyiv – Shostka. Departure from Kyiv at 10:00, arrival in Shostka – at 15:09. The train leaves Shostka at 15:50 and arrives in Kyiv at 20:51.
The Intercity train also stops at the stations: Vydubychi, Darnitsa, Brovary, Nizhyn, Pliski, Bakhmach, Konotop, Krolevets and Tereshchenska.
In addition, at the time that the Sumy region was de -occupied, the following trains began to run on the territory of the region: Kharkiv – Vorozhba (Slobozhansky Express), Sumy – Kyiv, Sumy – Ivano -Frankivsk, Shostka – Kyiv, Sumy – Krasnopolye, Trostyanets (Smorodino) – Vorozhba, Trostyanets (Smorodino) – Kirikovka, Trostyanets (Smorodino) – Akhtyrka, Vorozhba – Konotop, Konotop – Bakhmach, Konotop – Shostka, Konotop – Khutor, Smorilovsky.
The process of restoration of the station Smorodino (Trostyanets) was also discussed with the leadership of Ukrzaliznytsia. The invaders settled there and destroyed everything around them for about a month.
