The secret service press center reported this today, September 11.
It is noted that before the full-scale Russian invasion, he regularly visited Moscow to participate in the broadcasts of Russian propagandist Olga Skabeeva.
- supported the Kremlin’s aggressive policy;
- publicly denied the existence of Ukrainian statehood;
- spread hostile narratives about the alleged existence of ideological confrontation between Ukrainians.
It was established that for these actions he received a significant monetary reward from representatives of the aggressor country, the SBU notes. — In order to disguise the “transaction,” its organizers from Russia carried out the payment through financial institutions of third countries.
According to information available to the SBU, Polishchuk coordinated his subversive activities with representatives of the FSB, from whom he received money for participating in Russian television projects.
Based on the collected evidence, he was informed of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 1 Art. 111 (high treason);
- Part 1 Art. 161 (violation of the equality of citizens depending on their race, nationality, regional affiliation, religious beliefs, disability and other characteristics).
The sanction of the articles provides for punishment of up to 15 years in prison, the SBU notes. — Since the ex-official is hiding from justice abroad, comprehensive measures are continuing to bring him to justice.
