On the night of September 11, Russian troops attacked the territory of Ukraine, using 12 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type and two types of guided missiles. This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It was noted that the enemy launched drones in the direction of Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions from the southeast direction (Yeysk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation).
Anti-aircraft missile units, fighter aircraft, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack.
“As a result of fighting forces and methods of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other parts of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, 12 Shahed-136/131 were destroyed within the Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev regions, as as well as a UAV of unknown type,” the military emphasized.
In addition, the enemy used tactical flights in the Dnepropetrovsk region, firing Kh-31P anti-radar missiles and Kh-59 guided missiles from Su-34/Su-35 aircraft.
Preliminarily, no one lost, the information is clarified.
Earlier, the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Police Department reported that the fire occurred as a result of a missile attack in Krivoy Rog. There was damage to private houses in the Grechanopodov community.
