US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink announced this on Twitter on September 7.
According to her, the armored vehicles will go to Ukrainian border guards and police, who will be able to protect civilians.
MRAPs are a class of armored military vehicles specifically designed to protect the crew from improvised explosive devices (IEDs), mines, and ambushes (small arms fire).
Machines in this class usually have a V-shaped lower part of the body to dissipate the energy of the explosion, as well as special shock-absorbing seats mounted in places that are less affected by explosive loads.
Let us remind you that Great Britain will transfer Scimitar Mk.2 armored reconnaissance vehicles to Ukraine.
