The Agent of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, Yuri Afanasevsky, who headed the illegally created customs authority in the “LPR”, was blown up in his own house. This was reported on September 5 by the Interfax-Ukraine agency, citing a source in the Security Service of Ukraine.
It was noted that Afanasyevsky received multiple shrapnel wounds to the head, neck, abdomen and is now in intensive care in serious condition.
The SBU confirmed that this was the result of a special operation.

He launders funds to finance the armed formation that fought against Ukraine. Personal sanctions were imposed on Afanasevsky EU, Great Britain, Canada, Switzerland, Japan. Recall that in May in Lugansk, one of the leaders of “LNR” Igor Kornet was injured in an explosion in a barbershop.
According to media reports, the head of the “Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR” was blown up by the Ukrainian special services.
