In Russia, they said that air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian drone in the Istra district of the Moscow region.

The Russian military, using air defense systems, shot down drones in the Kaluga region and the Istra district of the Moscow region. The devices seem to be trying to attack Moscow. This was announced on Tuesday, September 5, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

“There were no injuries or casualties at the site of the debris fall. Emergency services are working at the site,” he wrote.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces shot down a “Ukrainian” drone in the Kaluga region.

“On September 5, at about 03.00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist slab-type attack on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was prevented. An unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed by one another method of air defense,” said the Russian Defense Ministry.

Recall that at the beginning of the week in Moscow, warehouses on the Square of Three Stations burned down, and a day later, Moscow airports restricted flights due to a “UAV attack”.
