Throughout Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army destroyed 189 medical facilities and damaged another 1,427. This was announced on Monday, September 4, by the Ministry of Health.
The medical infrastructures of Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, Mykolaiv region, Kiev region and Chernihiv region suffered the greatest losses.
“Despite shelling and shelling by the enemy, medical facilities are being restored in occupied settlements,” the Ministry of Health said.
By the beginning of September 2023, 384 facilities of medical institutions were fully restored, another 415 facilities were partially restored. Most of the restored medical institutions are in the Nikolaev, Dnipro, Kyiv, Kharkov and Chernihiv regions.
Russian troops destroyed a hospital in Kamyshany, Kherson region.
Russian aggressors launched another missile attack on a medical institution on the Dnieper.
