German Chancellor Olaf Scholz posted a photo of himself wearing an eyepatch. The head of the German government was injured when he fell while jogging.

This trouble happened to the chancellor on Saturday at his house in Potsdam.
Scholz canceled his appearances at campaign events on Sunday, but said he would attend all scheduled meetings going forward, including public appearances.
He stated that the injury was not serious, although the photo shows scratches under the eye, on the nose and on the cheekbone.
In a message under a photo of a bandage posted on the X network (formerly Twitter), Scholz gave citizens carte blanche to joke:
I’m waiting for memes. Thanks for the good wishes. It looks worse than it really is!
People quickly filled him with funny pictures.
There were many memes, and almost every one of them played up the pirate look of the chancellor.
It should be noted that on the eve of the head of the Bundestag Committee on Defense Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmerman said that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is the only one in the coalition who blocks the supply of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
At the moment he does not want to supply Taurus. But at this moment people continue to die in Ukraine. What is the chancellor waiting for, in the name of God? He alone is blocking this decision within the coalition. It’s irresponsible,” she wrote.
