Bulgarian law enforcement officers stopped a truck carrying 80 illegal migrants. Bulgarian National Radio reported this on Sunday, September 3.
It is indicated that the car was found on the Thrace highway, just 8 km from the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
Now police squads are working at the scene, identifying the refugees and looking for a truck driver who managed to escape.
Earlier in Bulgaria, they announced an increase in the migration flow to the country in the summer by about 57% compared to the same period last year.
In mid-August, a truck full of 80 migrants was also found in Bulgaria. All of them are citizens of Afghanistan.
And earlier in Bulgaria they found a minibus, which contained 43 illegal immigrants.
