The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information about the Russian invasion on Saturday night, September 2.
“During the day, the enemy launched 2 missiles and 34 air strikes, carried out 42 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of the attack of Russian terrorists, in “Unfortunately, there were dead and injured among the civilian population. Residential buildings were destroyed. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed,” the statement said.
During the day, more than 15 clashes took place, and in recent days 25-30 clashes were recorded.
In the Limansky direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the Novogorovka area of the Luhansk region, in the Avdeevsky direction – east of the Northern Donetsk region, and in the Maryinsky direction – in the south of Krasnogorovka and Novomikhailovka of Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the direction of Melitopol, combined with the achieved lines, and carry out counter-battery measures.
The flight of the defense forces during the day delivered 9 strikes on the places of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, and 2 – on the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile systems.
During the day, missile and artillery units hit 5 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 12 artillery weapons in firing positions, 2 ammunition depots, 2 command posts and 1 enemy anti-aircraft missile system.
Recall that the losses of the Russian Federation exceeded 264 thousand military.
