Russia has increased the activity of cargo aviation, following the direction of Tehran-Moscow with the supply of parts for drones, the production of which is established in the Russian Federation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine indicates.
The Russians are stockpiling missiles and drones to strike Ukrainian energy facilities during the heat-up in Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, September 1, on the air of the telethon of the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk.
“Obviously, they will try to repeat the horror of last year. And the energy systems will be important for the enemy as potential targets. They are now actually accumulating missile weapons. Therefore, the latest attacks are more economical. They look pretty modest,” Gumenyuk said.
He also pointed out that the Russians have changed their shelling tactics and now launch drones and missiles mostly to identify air defense systems.
“They want to know where the density of the Ukrainian air defense defense is stronger and stronger. They use a mixed method of attack with different missiles of different bases, and attach drones on them,” Gumenyuk said.
He also said that Russian cargo planes began to follow the Tehran-Moscow direction more often.
“Obviously, in terms of parts, with those drones, the production they established,” Gumenyuk said.
